Sutger - Sabra Payton

Miss Sabra A. Payton was born Dec 19, 1833, four miles north of Waveland, and died at Waveland, August 15. She first married Andrew Myers who died June 7, 1874. She then married Charles Sutger May 27, 1880 who died May 3, 1901. She belonged to the Old Line Baptist Church in which she lived a faithful Christian life. She was one of 11 children of whom but two survive. The body was interred at Union Cemetery Sunday afternoon after the funeral services conducted by Elder JJ Canine. -- kbz
